What we've built

Every product is deployed and running. Click any of them — the numbers below are things you can verify yourself.

USLakeFront

Lake intelligence for people buying waterfront property.

live

Every real estate site shows you the kitchen. None tell you the reservoir drops forty feet in November, that the dock needs federal approval, or what the first year actually costs. This one does.

101lakes surveyed, all 50 states
31on live USGS gauges
8financial calculators
152automated checks passing

Live ingestion from U.S. Geological Survey sensors. True shoreline boundaries from the National Hydrography Dataset. Deterministic scoring across five axes with the formula published on the site.

DealScope

Pre-LOI screening for people buying small businesses.

live

Most acquisition tools start after you have a deal. This one tells you which listings are worth a phone call, and why the ones that look good usually are not.

$99per month
15architecture decision records
5regression test cases

Scores a listing against asking price, seller discretionary earnings, asset coverage, and goodwill multiple. Confidence is a progress mechanic: the report tells you exactly which documents would move a verdict.

RootOptics

The engine that decides what we build next.

live

A scoring system for business ideas. It runs candidates through fixed gates and kills the ones that do not clear them — including several we wanted to like.

3evaluation tracks
7scoring dimensions

Three tracks with separate gates and weights. It has blocked our own ideas, which is the point of building it.

Brixen

Autonomous trading signal platform.

live

Research and signal generation that runs without supervision.

Probe products

Three small tools, each testing one demand signal.

live

GA4 Fix, AD Sync Fix, and Fail2ban for journald. Cheap to build, cheap to kill. Every one had a pass mark set before launch.

3live
$15–39each

Deliberately small. The point is a real answer about demand, not revenue.

vps_mcp

Our own infrastructure tooling, open on request.

internal

A controlled remote interface to the server. Twelve tools behind four independent security layers, every one of them tested by trying to break it.

12tools
17security checks passing

Path allowlist that resolves before it checks, so symlinks cannot escape. Sixteen refused command patterns. Full audit log.

How we build

The standards we hold ourselves to

Most software companies do not publish these. We do, because the way a thing is built is most of what it is worth.

01

Verify, don't assert

Nothing ships on the claim that it works. Every product has a regression suite that runs before deploy. USLakeFront has 152 checks across five gates.

We learned this the hard way: eighteen documented bugs shipped or nearly shipped, and every single one returned a successful HTTP status. A green response is not proof.

02

Publish nothing rather than something wrong

When we cannot source a number honestly, we show nothing and explain why.

A lake page once displayed a neighbouring lake's water level — real, live, and from the wrong body of water. The fix cut our coverage from roughly a hundred lakes to thirty-one. We shipped the smaller number.

03

Public data before paid data

We check whether a federal agency already publishes it before paying anyone.

Water levels, shoreline boundaries, elevation, and state geography all come from USGS, EPA, and Census — free, unlicensed, and largely unused in the markets we enter.

04

Own the infrastructure

One server we control. No platform that can change its pricing or terms underneath us.

Five products, one machine, deployed and monitored with tooling we wrote.

05

Document the failures

Our own mistakes are written down where they can be read, including on the products.

USLakeFront has a page listing what is measured, what is modelled, what is a sample, and which bugs we shipped. In a market where the incumbent lists a horse property as lakefront, that is a competitive advantage.
